MTV, VH1 & CMT goes Back to Roots on 'Independence Day' July 4th

The networks said Wednesday, June 12, 2013, they will throw a “Music Independence Day” party that day, showing videos and giving exposure to artists at a time it can be hard for them to break through to a larger audience. MTV, VH1 & CMT will return to their original Programming of music videos for July 4th 'Independence Day' only in support of Independent artist and bands. MTV has held an 'Independence Day' programming for the past 5 years to my knowledge.
