Beyonce under the radar released her 5th Studio album self titled 'Beyonce' at 12 am on Friday 13th, a kind of Black Friday surprised as Kanye West did for his Dark & Twisted Fantasy album. But "Yonce" took it a step further releasing an entire album and videos for each track without the support of her record label who marginalized the album and doubted possible sales. At this moment, Beyonce’s new album is #1 on iTunes in 100 countries. Surpassing the record One Direction held when their album "Midnight Memories" hit #1 in 97 countries. Beyonce Album features Jay Z, Drake, Frank Ocean and daughter Blue Ivy. This appears to be Bey's biggest album since Bey's 06 B-Day which sold 541,000 the 1st week. Bey reportedly crashed the i-tunes site an hour after her official announcement on Facebook and Twitter and supposedly sold 80,000 in 3 hours according to i-tunes but whats not being said is exactly how Beyonce sold altogether. At 430,000, “Beyonce” is already set to become the biggest debuting album by a female artist since Taylor Swift sold an astounding 1.2 million copies of “Red” in the week corresponding to Billboard 200 chart dated Nov 10, 2012. And if predictions in the 600,000 range hold, the set would grant Beyonce the best debut week- and best sales week period- of her career according to billboard. With Beyonce initiating her creative ambition one thing for sure is Major Record Labels need to fall in line with the New Rules the Queen Bey imposed after being told your too urban by spooks claiming they know how to sell records. 2 you turn the album master in to the record label their appears to be some some major discrepancies once it reaches retail for sales to be looking so slum its 1st week for her B-Day album. I remember when Michael Jackson said his last album was #1 Worldwide except in the U.S. 3 Why should an artist suffer for their material to be ridiculed and censored by a Record Label, Radio, Network TV, Blogger or critic.
